Kyra Minturn
KyraMinturn Sedgwickwas born on August 19, 1965 is an American actress. Her most famous character is that of Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime series The Closer. Sedgwick received two Emmy Awards in 2010 and 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson. The seventh season of the series concluded on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick's role as Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is also noteworthy. Sedgwick was nominated for an Golden Globe award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film credits include Oliver Stone's Born on the Fourth of July (1989), Cameron Crowe's Singles (1992), Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) and What's cooking (2000), Secondhand Lions (2003), The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick was one of the New York City native, the daughter Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald) was an educator and therapist for families as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VI as the venture capitalist. Her mother was Jewish was of English and Episcopalian descent. Sedgwick has identified herself as Jewish and has said she is a part of Passover seders.
